Girl's Valentine Night

This Friday, February 2nd, from 7:30 to 9:30 PM come to Krystal's for a girl's night out. We hope that you will come with your moms and sisters. Dessert will be served along with punch, so eat dinner before you come. We will Read of God's great love for us, sing songs of God's love for us, and make valentines to send to our missionaries and shut-ins. I hope that you can come, please RSVP to Krystal at 803.270.3055.


Directions to Krystal's
Take the first exit off of I-20 once you are in SC. This will take you up to Martintown Road. At the end of the exit take a right towards the Waffle House. You will stay on Martintown Road for 3 or 4 miles. You will go through 4 traffic lights. At the 5th light, big intersection, take a left onto Georgia Avenue. A half a mile up Georgia Ave. you will see a car shop on your left called Total Automotive, the next street on the Left is Marion. Turn Left onto Marion and My Driveway is the second on the right. There is a speed limit sign basically in my driveway. So look for that and a highly gravel drive. Call me if you get lost. :o)

There is no LYM this Wednesday! We need a few days to recover from the beach trip! But we will see you next Wednesday the 24th! And speaking of the beach trip... We need pictures! We need them for the website and the youth board at church! So bring them on a disk or bring your camera and we will load them onto Krystal's computer!

BEACH TRIP 2007

So we leave on Friday between 4:00 and 4:30 and this is what you bring:

Money for 2 road meals and for shopping and playing around at Broadway on the Beach and money for Tokens at NASCAR Cafe. Sleeping Bag, Towel, Pillow, Clothing for three days, Nice clothes for Church, Bathing Suit (one piece for girls, or bring a dark colored T-shirt or tank top if all you have is a two piece.) Bible, Notebook, Pen, Toiletries, Snacks, Playing Cards, Games (football, frisbee, board games, kites, puzzles) Clothes to play in, & Tennis shoes

We will return on Monday around 3:00ish! Alright, we'll see you on Friday! Woot-Woot!

High School Girl's Book Study

Every Young Woman's Battle, Gaurding your mind, heart, and body in a sex-saturated world, by: Shannon Ethridge & Stephen Arterburn. This is the book that the high school girls will have a chance to study with a group led by Laura Mackert, Delores DeWald, Meaghan McNutt, Krystal Lyon, Jamie Lynn Bates, and Carrie Adams. We will meet at Lakemont's Youth House on Saturday's at 10:00 AM. Bagels and coffee will be served and we hope that you can come. If you have any questions call Laura Mackert or Delores DeWald.

Cake Auction

Cake Haters beware! This Sunday the annual Lakemont Cake Auction is going down after the 11:15 service. Now for the High school students this is a great way to cut the price of that beach trip or YoWAW. It also raises a good bit for the summer mission trips! So if you want to help this is what you do.

1. Make a cake! Be creative and put some love into it! Make sure you put your name on the cake and what kind of cake it is.
2. Come to the early service. We want you all to be able to worship on Sunday and not miss out!
3. During the late service help set up tables and chairs and get the lunch ready!
4. Pick a table and serve those that are sitting there! Be a good waiter.
5. Help auction off the cakes, take them to tables.
6. Lastly and very important, help clean up! We need to put those tables up and set up for night church!

So come ready to serve and all will be well. If you have any questions call Krystal at the church!
