Winter Camp

So Christmas is here and Winter Camp is just around the corner! If you are going with us on Wednesday the 27th you need to be at the church around 10:00 AM, we will hopefully take off around 10:30 AM.

Here is a list of what to bring:
Money for two road meals and snacks at Ridge Haven
Warm clothes for 4 days worth of living in the mountains
Toiletries, you know tooth paste, shampoo, soap, ect...
A Ski outfit! Which includes, long underwear, Ski Bib or ski pants, Ski jacket, Hat, Goggles, Ski gloves (water resistant), and a scarf
Tennis shoes and shower shoes or flip flops are a must!
Sleeping bag, or blanket and sheets and a pillow
A Towel
And a Bible, Notebook, Pen, Flashlight and a cheap camera or disposable one!

We will return to Augusta on December 30th around 2:00 PM, but we will call home from the road!

Youth Christmas Party Friday


This Friday, December 15th from 7:00 to 10:00 PM get ready to have a good time with your Lakemont buddies! We are meeting at the Clubhouse in the neighborhood called "The Abbeys" and here is how you get there.

Directions: Coming from Washington road, Turn onto Fury's Ferry going towards the lake. Take a RIGHT on Evans to Locke Road. You will pass Stevens Creek Elementary on the RIGHT and then a quarter of a mile on the RIGHT is the neighborhood called "The Abbeys". When you turn in you will be on Glenn Abbey Drive. Go down until you see Pevero Abbey Circle on your LEFT and turn. You will be in the Clubhouse parking lot.

If the gate is closed when you arrive at the entrance of The Abbeys enter the code 5473, that is the number for the Clubhouse.

Remember to bring a good gift, a good gift, not a silly bad joke gift, but a good gift that is worth $5.00 or less. Wrap it and if it can be gender neutral great, and be creative!

And also remember to bring a snack to share, Middle school something sweet, High school something salty, homemade goodies are a plus!

Dress festive and come ready to smile and laugh a lot! We can't wait to see you there!
